Baby Found alongside Dark Maryland Road
Last Tuesday, just before midnight, a call came into the police reporting that a baby in a car seat carrier was found in the 900 block of Druid Hill Avenue in Pasadena. Reverend Raymond Showell and his wife were coming home from church when they saw the baby carrier alongside the road and thought it was empty. However, as they walked up to the car seat, they heard the sounds of a baby sitting in the seat. They immediately called the police and they began posting pictures of the baby on social media and the mother came forward a few days ago. The mother, Sandra McClary, told the police that the baby was supposed to be with her father, but investigators were able to put McClary on Druid Hill Avenue that night. The mother was arrested and charged with child neglect and is being held on $500,000 bail. The police contacted the father of the baby to gain custody of the child and will became his primary caretaker.
